From our kitchen to yours: here are our favourite go-to recipes this summer.

Katie’s Go-To Smoothie

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 2 bananas

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1 tbsp powder dragonfruit

  • 1 tsp spirulina

  • 1 tsp ground flax seed

  • Protein powder of choice (I use Vegan Protein)

  • 1 cup spinach

  • 1 cup Coconut water

TO PREP:

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

NOTE FROM KATIE:

“Sometimes I use less coconut water and make an açai bowl with my homemade granola, strawberries, banana and blackberries. I am OBSESSED with Sunflower butter these days, so I use this or Almond Butter!”


TAREN’S QUICK AND EASY COCONUT CHIA OVErNIGHt OATS

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 1 banana 

  • 1 cup of unsweetened coconut milk 

  • 3tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Optional additions: 

  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

  • Berries or other fruit 

  • Maple syrup (if you have a sweet tooth)

TO PREP:

  1. In a bowl, mash the banana.

  2. Mix in the coconut milk, oats and chia seeds. Mix well.

  3. Place in a sealed jar and chill the refrigerator until the seeds have expanded and the mixture has thickened (at least 3hrs or overnight). Serve with your favourite fruit, nut butters, or other toppings and enjoy!
